Welcome to the Heart of Australia

There are few places quite like Uluru.

Rising 348 metres above the surrounding desert plain, Uluru is one of Australia’s most recognisable landscapes and holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for the Anangu people, the Traditional Owners of the land.

Uluru is a living cultural landscape and a place of deep significance to the Anangu Traditional Owners. We encourage everyone visiting to take the time to learn about the culture, stories and connection to Country that make this place so special.

Explore the landscape on foot, by bike or Segway, take to the air on a scenic helicopter flight, experience the desert by camel, or discover the incredible night sky on a stargazing experience.

We have also left some free time in the conference programme, giving you the chance to relax by the pool, explore at your own pace or book one of our optional Sunday activities.

Stay a little longer?

If you have the time, consider extending your stay before or after the conference and exploring more of Central Australia.

Discover Central Australia highlights Kings Canyon, Alice Springs and the West MacDonnell Ranges as options for extending a Red Centre itinerary beyond Uluru.

Whether you want a little more adventure or simply a few extra days to take in the landscape, there is plenty to discover.
