On Sunday 26 September, discover Uluru your way with a choice of unforgettable experiences. Watch the desert come to life at sunrise, explore Uluru by Segway or bike, take in breathtaking views on a helicopter flight, or enjoy a sunrise camel tour. There's something for everyone.

Optional activities are available at an additional cost and can be selected during registration. Prefer to explore at your own pace or simply relax? You're welcome to choose free time instead.

Please note: Activities are subject to minimum numbers and operational requirements. If your chosen activity cannot proceed, we'll be in touch to discuss alternative options.

Start the day with a truly special Uluru sunrise experience. Sunrise Journeys combines Anangu storytelling, artwork, light and music across the desert landscape as the sun rises over Uluru. Afterwards, enjoy a native inspired breakfast with signature chai tea. 

Includes: Sunrise views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, immersive light, music and sound experience, morning grazing with native inspired flavours, Australian chai tea and return transfers from all hotels.

Children: Suitable for guests aged 5 years and over.

Price: $198.90 + GST per adult | $117.50 + GST per child

Duration & Pick Up: Approximately 2 hours, departing approximately 1 hour before sunrise.

Explore the incredible base of Uluru on a guided Segway adventure, combining spectacular scenery with fascinating insights into Anangu culture and the surrounding desert environment. Visit Mutitjulu Waterhole and enjoy the Mala Walk before returning to Ayers Rock Resort.

Includes: Guided Segway tour at the base of Uluru, Segway and helmet, comprehensive commentary and return transfers from Ayers Rock Resort.

Children: Suitable for guests aged 12 years and over. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must weigh between 45 kg and 117 kg and meet the tour’s fitness and safety requirements.

Price: $352.90 + GST per person (price includes entry to Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park)

Duration & Pick Up: Approximately 4 hours, departing from Ayers Rock Resort approximately 1 hour after sunrise.

Take to the skies for an unforgettable view of Uluru on a scenic helicopter flight. Enjoy a spectacular aerial perspective of the iconic landscape, with bubble windows offering fantastic opportunities to capture photos along the way.

Includes: 15 minute scenic helicopter flight, air conditioned return bus transfers from within Ayers Rock Resort, informative commentary from your pilot and the opportunity to have your photo taken in front of the helicopter.

Children: Children are welcome to attend. Infants aged 0 to 1 years can travel free of charge on a parent or guardian’s lap. 

Price: $290 + GST per person. Flights are subject to minimum numbers.

Duration & Pick Up: 15 minute flight, with the overall experience listed as 1 to 2 hours. Departures are available from 8:00am to 4:00pm, weather permitting.

Experience the magic of the Red Centre at dawn with a peaceful camel ride through the desert, taking in beautiful views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Along the way, knowledgeable cameleers share insights into the local flora and fauna, before you finish with a light breakfast and a cup of billy tea or coffee.

Includes: 1 hour camel ride, entry to the Camel Farm Museum, freshly baked beer bread damper with quandong jam, billy tea or coffee and return transfers from Ayers Rock Resort.

Children: Suitable for children aged 5 years and over. Children must be at least 107 cm tall, and those aged 5 to 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Price: $230 + GST per person. A minimum of 2 guests is required per booking.

Duration & Pick Up: Approximately 2.5 hours. The Ayers Rock Resort page currently says the tour departs 1.5 hours prior to sunrise.

Explore the spectacular base of Uluru at your own pace on a 15 km self guided bike ride. Take in the incredible desert scenery along the way, stopping whenever you like to explore, before visiting the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre at the end of your ride.

Includes: 3 hour bike hire and helmet, self guided ride around the base of Uluru, return bus transfers and the opportunity to explore the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

Children: This experience is suitable for guests aged 11 years and over.

Price: $230 + GST per person (price includes entry to Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park)

Duration & Pick Up: Allow approximately 3 hours for the bike ride, with return hotel transfers included. 

Partner Program

Where a partner pass is purchased in addition to a delegate pass, your Partner ticket includes attendance at each of the main dinners (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). And, while delegates attend the conference sessions on Saturday, Partners can opt in to the partner program.

Indulge in a uniquely Australian High Tea experience, celebrating native ingredients and the rich culinary flavours of Australia. Enjoy a delicious selection of sweet and savoury petits fours, thoughtfully crafted using native inspired ingredients, accompanied by a selection of Indigenous organic teas and freshly brewed barista coffee. It is a lovely way to slow down, relax and enjoy an afternoon treat during your time at Ayers Rock Resort.

Includes: Native Australian inspired menu, sweet and savoury petits fours, Indigenous organic tea selection and barista coffee

Price: $122 + GST per adult

Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours

Please note: A minimum number of 30 participants is required for the partner program to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met, an alternative activity may be offered.

Kids Club

We want the kids to have just as much fun in Uluru as the adults.

A dedicated Kids Club will be available for children aged 4 years and over, with activities, games and meals planned around the ages of the children attending.

The Kids Club will run during:

  • Friday evening, while parents attend the Gala Dinner and Awards
  • Saturday, during the Conference and Partner Program
  • Saturday evening

Children must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian.

For children under 4, babysitting can be arranged separately in advance at an additional cost.
